Organizacija in vodenje

Excursions

Excursions do not have a strict schedule, all excursions will be adapted to your wishes.
They are suitable for all ages.
Some trips are subject to good weather. If the weather is not in our favor, we will adjust the dates accordingly and do our best to organize all excursions according to your wishes.
All excursions will be led by experienced local guides.
On all excursions, all equipment for snorkelling such as fins and masks, water and snacks (for longer trips) are included in the price.
The costs of the excursions are paid directly in the Maldives, directly to the guesthouse where you are staying. We will send you approximate excursion prices, but depending on the number of people going on the excursion, they may be lower.

The Guesthouse

The guesthouse is located on an unspoiled local island, with friendly locals and beautiful sandy beaches.
All rooms are clean, air conditioned with wi-fi,has 2 towels, one for beach and one for the shower, equipped with its own toilet.
The guesthouse has its own garden are for smoking, playing cards or relaxing.
Room cleaning services are provided every other day or on request the same day free of charge.
Free instant coffee and tea in the room are available

Food and Maldivian Cuisine

Food served in the guesthouse mainly consist of Maldivian flat bread, coconut, tuna and Reef fish such as snappers, exotic fruits and vegetables.
All ingredients for the meals are sourced fresh from the local islands.
The menu is a mixture of traditional Maldivian dishes and European food , so you will have the opportunity to try new dishes and at the same time enjoy food that you are already familiar with.
If you want vegetarian/vegan meals, have allergies or any other preferences, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate them.
Water and juice are also available with all meals.
Coffee at meals (except for breakfast) is not included.
Alcohol is not available for sale on local islands.

The island

The temperature of all the islands in Maldives are 28 to 32 degrees throughout the year.
The island has its own doctor, pharmacy, several small shops and restaurants.
You can pay in US dollars (10 USD, 20 USD, 50 USD) in restaurants, shops and for the cost of excursions, and the balance will be returned to you in the local currency, called Rufiyaa.
The sea temperature is around 28 degrees all year around.
The island is 3 km long and up to 250 meters wide.
The island has a long sandy beach where you can also snorkel and see colorful tropical fish
The village is in the north of the island, and in the south of the island there is a beautiful sand bank where you can enjoy the sunsets.

Good to know

A passport valid for at least 6 months is required.
Visa on arrival is free for all nationalities.
Flights are available to travel from all international airports in the European Union
The transfer from the airport to Dhigurah Island departs at 11:00am or 16:00, we recommend arriving in the Maldives early in the morning.
The transfer from Dhigurah Island to the airport departs at 6:30 am or at 1:30 pm (1:45 pm on Fridays).
No PCR test or vaccination is required to enter the Maldives.
US dollars are accepted on the island, but care must be taken that they are not damaged or crumpled.
All islands are generally very safe and crime-free.

The island has many farms with exotic fruits, which you can directly purchase from the market at the beach.

DAN 1-8

1. dan: Prihod na letališče Male'. Nato se bomo s hitro ladjo odpravili na naš prvi otok. Prevoz traja približno 2 uro. Po prihodu, čas za sprostitev.
2. dan: jutranji voden ogled otoka, raziskovanje otoka
3. dan: Celodnevni izlet: plavanje v koralnem vrtu s tropskimi ribami, obisk bližnjega otoka ali peščene sipine, piknik, igranje reznih iger, sprostitev. Nato sledi obisk in raziskovanje lokalnega otoka Dhihdhoo.
4. dan: Popoldne bomo odšli na čaj in pokušino tradiconalnega prigrizka "hedhikaa".
5. dan: prost dan, okoli sončnega zahoda pa se odpravimo na ribolov s tradicionalno maldivijsko opremo. Po ribolovu sledi ribji BBQ.
6. dan: Posebna novoletna večerja in zabava za novo leto.
7. dan: Zadnji dan za uživanje na otoku.
8. dan: Zjutraj lahko uživate na otoku. Popoldne odhod z otoka. Voden ogled otoka Male’ , kjer si bomo ogledali znamenitosti glavnega mesta. Zvečer let v domov.

The price of the plane ticket is included in the price display on the website only so that the customer has a better overview of the price. Everything related to plane tickets will be organized by our agency, but the plane ticket is paid to an external partner/agency that issues the tickets. If desired, the customer can also search for a return ticket him/her self. Thus, the plane ticket is not included in the arrangement, legal and formal obligations and rights from the purchase of the plane ticket are between the passenger and the agency that issues the ticket and where the passenger pays for it.

More about excursions

Excursions can be purchased directly on the spot at the guesthouse in US Dollars. Possible excursions on Dhigurah Island are: swimming with whale sharks, snorkeling with manta rays (depending on the season), visiting the nearby island of Maaminigili or Dhangethi, diving, day trip to Sun Island Resort, fishing, romantic dinner on the beach, picnic on the sand bank, trying local "hedhika" snacks.

Terms of payment

Upon registration for travel, the traveler is obliged to pay an advance payment of 200 EUR per passenger, or as much as stated in the travel program. The remaining part is paid no later than 30 days before departure, or as stated in the departure notice.
